Harold Edgerton Fragments of Time

The Harold Edgerton – Fragments of Time exhibition, presented by the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto as part of its centenary celebrations, showcased a retrospective of images by Harold Edgerton, renowned scientist and photographer.

His work reflects a harmonious blend of scientific research and artistic creation and his photographs are simultaneously curious, educational and very beautiful.

This exhibition, held at the stunning Andresen House in the Porto Botanical Garden, brought together 58 of the most iconic images clicked by Edgerton, a pioneer of high speed photography.
