Urban Africa A Photographic Journey by David Adjaye

One of the leading exponents of his generation, the British architect David Adjaye left behind his usual line of work to photograph and document large African cities, as part of an ongoing project studying new urbanism standards.

This collection of photographs is a personal as well as technical quest, motivated by a sparse knowledge about the built-up landscape of the African continent. Directly commissioned by Africa.Cont, this exhibition required the total reconfiguration of the Black Pavilion at Lisbon’s City Museum.

Work developed by TE for this project:
Project Management in collaboration with Africa.Cont
Production
Coordination of Installation, De-installation and Transport
