The Portuguese painter and sculptor Matos Cardoso, 81 years of age, presented what he claims to have been his last exhibition at the National Society of Fine Arts (SNBA) in Lisbon, between February 7 and March 2, 2019.

The contemporary art exhibition Convergências brought together 25 works of sculpture/assemblage and drawing/collage using materials such as wood, stone and metal, giving a small glimpse on the multifaceted work of the plastic artist, represented in several national and foreign official collections, but especially in private collections.
