In the seventh video of the SHARING ART THOUGHTS series, we present the perspective of Catarina Vaz Pinto, Councillor for Culture at the Lisbon City Council since 2009. With a Law degree and a postgraduation in European Studies, Catarina Vaz Pinto shares with us her experience as a cultural manager and independent consultant in the area of policies and cultural development, cultural and artistic training, as well as her expectations for the portuguese cultural sector after the crisis caused by the impact of the coronavirus.

In addition to being a councillor, Catarina Vaz Pinto has held in the past other prominent positions in the portuguese cultural sector, having been Secretary of State for Culture (1997-2000) and Assistant to the Minister of Culture (1995-1997).
