On August 30, 2022, the Southeast Museum of Photography, in Daytona Beach, Florida, hosted the opening of the exhibition Days of Punk – Photographs by Michael Grecco, with the presence of the photographer who, in the opportunity, spoke to the local public about his work and presented his book Punk, Post Punk, New Wave: Onstage, Backstage, In Your Face, 1978–1991, which brings together many of the photos on display.

Days of Punk is a multimedia exhibition, focused on the photographic work that Michael Grecco produced between the end of the 1970s and the beginning of the 1990s, when he portrayed legends of the music scene from the punk, post-punk and new wave movements, and which also includes videos and soundscapes, providing visitors with an immersive experience in what was a frenetic and explosive era in the cultural landscape.
