Hollywood Icons | The Star Factory – Photographs from the John Kobal Foundation premiered in Portugal on March 5, 2020 at the Portuguese Centre for Photography (CPF), Porto, after being shown in Italy, Brazil and Germany. The opening was attended by Simon Crocker, co-curator of the exhibition and President Emeritus of the John Kobal Foundation, holder of the collection from where the 161 images that make up this exhibition were selected.

At the opening, the attendees had the chance to follow a guided tour led by Crocker, who throughout his career had the opportunity to work directly with some of the great Hollywood Portrait Photographers featured in the exhibition, such as George Hurrell, Clarence Sinclair Bull, Laszlo Willinger and Ted Allan.

Unfortunately, the exhibition Hollywood Icons | The Star Factory is currently closed in accordance with the Contingency Plan within the scope of coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention measures. We hope to be able to announce its reopening soon.
