Norman Parkinson Always in Style

The D Luís I Foundation – Cascais Cultural Centre presentes for the first time in Portugal and the world, for approximately four months, the Norman Parkinson: Always in Style exhibition. It offers a generous retrospective of Parkinson’s influential career, featuring 80 photographs of the different production stages of the artist, containing rarely seen images sourced from Parkinson’s extensive archive and many classic photographs, acclaimed and celebrated within the history  of the medium.

The Aka Norman Parkinson documentary, coproduced by BBC and the Norman Parkinson Archive, is also screened within the exhibition.

Terence Pepper, who directed the photography department at the National Portrait Gallery in London, is the curator of the Norman Parkinson: Always in Style exhibition. Alex Anthony and Iconic Images are co-curators of this display.
