Terra Esplêndida was responsible for the communication of the exhibition Eduardo Arroyo – Uma Biografia Pintada, held at the Cascais Cultural Centre from June 7 to September 7, 2025, as part of the Museums’ Quarter programme. The exhibition, promoted by the D. Luis I Foundation with the support of the Cascais City Council, brought together more than 40 works by one of the most prominent Spanish artists of the 20th century, from private collections and institutions such as the Museo Reina Sofía.
Organised chronologically and curated by Marisa Oropesa, the exhibition traced six decades of Eduardo Arroyo’s work, highlighting his critical vision, vibrant use of colour, and the diversity of influences spanning painting, sculpture, and drawing. Among the works displayed in Cascais were iconic pieces such as El último exilio (1963), Los cuatro dictadores (1963), Robinson Crusoe (1966), El pintor orgulloso de sí mismo (1976), Parmi les peintres (1976), Cristóbal Colón (1992), El retrato de Dorian Gray (2004), and El buque fantasma (2018).
