TE, in a partnership with the Portuguese Centre for Photography (CPF), brings to Portugal the fifth presentation of this exhibition of which it also manages the world tour. The Portuguese public now has the opportunity to get to know the work of the photographers responsible for creating the brand image of the great stars from the classical Hollywood era and to understand how the Studio Star System worked, in an exhibition assembled from the extensive photography collection of the John Kobal Foundation.
Curated by Robert Dance and Simon Crocker, the Hollywood Icons | The Star Factory exhibition is on display at the Portuguese Centre for Photography in Porto, since 6 March 2020, presenting 161 photographs of the great stars of Hollywood’s golden years, from the 20s to the 60s, allowing a journey back to the times of the Hollywood dream factory.
