On the 4^th and 5^th of November 2023, hundreds of visitors were welcomed by the Opelvillen Rüsselsheim for the events that marked the opening of the exhibition Frida Kahlo – Her Photos, once again in Germany after 8 years.

The opening took place in the presence of Dennis Grieser, mayor of the City of Rüsselsheim and Head of Cultural Affairs; Ayse Asar, State Secretary of Hesse; Cecilia Villanueva Bracho, Mexican Consul in Frankfurt am Main; Perla Labarthe, director of the Frida Kahlo Museum, and Dr. Beate Kemfer, curator and member of the Board of the Opelvillen Foundation.

The 241 photographs that make up Frida Kahlo – Her Photos, carefully selected by curator Pablo Ortiz Monasterio from Frida Kahlo’s photographic archives, can be seen in Rüsselsheim until February 4, 2024.
