On March 21, 2025, the exhibition Norman Parkinson: Always in Fashion arrived in Turin, a first in Italy. More than 80 photographs – as well as magazine covers and memorabilia – by one of the most important photographers of the 20th century will be on display at the historic Palazzo Falletti di Barolo until June 29, 2025.

Curated by Terence Pepper OBE, the exhibition is an initiative of the Italian production company Ares Torino in partnership with Terra Esplêndida and Iconic Images. To mark the first presentation of the exhibition in Italy, a new catalogue in Italian has been specially published by Moebius Books.

Over six decades, Norman Parkinson revolutionised the world of fashion photography with his inventiveness, spontaneity, vivacity, elegance and sense of humour. He has photographed for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Town & Country, among many other publications. His subjects have included the biggest names in fashion, Hollywood and music stars and members of the British Royal Family. The exhibition Norman Parkinson: Always in Fashion, previously shown in Portugal, Spain and Canada, is a magnificent retrospective of his influential career.
