TE and The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, in partnership with the Centro Português de Fotografia, presented, from July 15th to October 29th 2023, the photography exhibition THE COMEDY WILDLIFE.

With an exhibition project specially developed for the galleries of the Centro Português de Fotografia, the exhibition, unprecedented in Portugal, brings together around 150 photographs, selected from the winning images of the 2015 – 2022 editions of The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, one of the most prestigious photography contests around the world.

These photographs captivate, entertain, and make everyone smile, and that is precisely their strength. In addition to providing carefree fun, the organizers of the award and the exhibition want to raise awareness to the importance of wildlife conservation and, through humorous photographs, convey a strong message about the importance of environmental sustainability and the protection of endangered species.

With this objective in mind, in addition to offering the public an educational and entertaining experience, THE COMEDY WILDLIFE awards and exhibition, support and work together with international institutions dedicated to the protection of animals. In this context, part of the ticket revenue of the exhibition in Porto goes to the Portuguese Society for the Study of Birds (SPEA).
