Rui Prata | Artistic director of Imago Lisboa Photo Festival
In the fourth instalment of the SHARING ART THOUGHTS project, we present the perspective of the Portuguese curator Rui Prata.
Historian and master in Curatorship and Contemporary Museology at the University of Fine Arts of Porto, Prata teaches contemporary photography and works as curator of national and international exhibitions.
In 2019 he was the creator and artistic director of the first edition of the IMAGO LISBOA Photo festival. Previously Prata was the director of the Museu da Imagem in Braga (1999-2015) and founder of the Photography Festival Encontros da Imagem (1987-2013), also in Braga.
