Sam Shaw: 60 Years of Photography: Last two weeks at the Centro Cultural de Cascais
The exhibition Sam Shaw: 60 Years of Photography, inaugurated on 11 September, now enters the final phase of its season at the Centro Cultural de Cascais. The Portuguese public now has around two weeks to see this exhibition which had its world première in Cascais and will continue to travel the world.
Sam Shaw: 60 Years of Photography spans the six decades of the career of this New York-based photographer who portrayed virtually all the celebrities and intellectuals of his time. The exhibition includes iconic images such as the photograph of Marilyn Monroe standing on a subway vent with a gust of air billowing through her white dress and other rare and never-before-seen images.
The exhibition will be at the Centro Cultural de Cascais until 8 November 2015.
